Ramush Haradinaj, candidate for the Prime Minister of Kosovo nominated by the PAN coalition, told Radio Free Europe that Kosovo will have its new institutions within the next ten days. He said that with the support of the Alliance for New Kosovo (AKR), Kosovo will have a broad-based government. He also added that the only candidate for the position of the Assembly President is Kadri Veseli.
“I think that it now depends on the political will of the Vetevendsoje and the LDK… if they would allow PAN the right that it has, based on Constitutional Court, by participating during the voting. So, the reason of the current situation is lack of participation during the voting or lack of voting the Assembly President. Fortunately, the situation has evolved, so we are not at that rigid position anymore. The new position of the AKR and Mr. [Behxhet] Pacolli is really welcomed, the readiness to give another deadline, to unblock creation of institutions of the country, in this case, constitution of the Parliament and creation of the government.” Haradinaj said.
