U.S. Ambassador Greg Delawie said today that Kosovo’s priorities should be the rule of law and economic development. After meeting newly-elected Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, Delawie said that Kosovo’s leaders should put the interests of the state before their personal interests and that Kosovo has no time to lose. “The United States of America will continue to support Kosovo. Our priorities in terms of policies remain the same. I call on all leaders to put state interests before their personal interests. Time is running and we have no time to lose,” Delawie was quoted as saying.
