Kosovo President Hashim Thaci said on Sunday that his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump and representatives of different countries at the United Nations General Assembly is evidence that Kosovo is getting stronger in the international arena. “Together with Kosovo’s delegation we held over 50 meetings with representatives of different countries, presidents and prime ministers. We met U.S. President Trump. I must say that Kosovo and its people are blessed for their friendship with the United States of America. President Trump said Kosovo and its people are wonderful. We need to safeguard these values. Kosovo’s position in the international arena is getting stronger. Our participation at the United Nations General Assembly was an exceptional opportunity to promote the state of Kosovo,” President Thaci told RTK.
