Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, has reacted to the statement by the “Russian Humanitarian Mission” NGO that it will support Kosovo Serbs saying the organisation’s true objective is to stretch Russian influence in the region. In three consecutive tweets, Hoxhaj accused the Serbian government and its office for Kosovo for “disguising parallel structures as humanitarian services provided by Russian NGOs” and for “serving as an extended arm of Russia’s hybrid interference seeking to destabilise the Balkans.” “Russian humanitarian assistance in Balkans is nothing but a geopolitical instrument to undo West’s good-intended investment in stability,” Hoxhaj wrote on his third tweet.
