Kosovo’s Minister for Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj, signed a contract with the Bechtel Enka company to finish the construction of the Arben Xhaferri highway by the end of 2018. Lekaj said: “We pledged to respect the contract and meet our obligations as the Government of Kosovo and at the same time we received promises from Riyadh Alkhazraji, Project Director, that the construction will be finished according to the timeline. This highway, one of the key roads that links Kosovo to pan-European corridors, will be finished in December next year. The best way to serve our citizens is by providing them with modern and safe conditions, such as this highway, which will be inaugurated for New Year 2019”.
