Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said that Kosovo is a province of Serbia and that the Serbian government acted in accordance with it and approved the swearing-in of the Serbian judges and prosecutors before President Hashim Thaci, and that it implemented the Brussels agreement, Belgrade daily Danas writes.

“I recall that Kosovo and Metohija is a province within Serbia, and in this way the government relate, if the province has made a decision, how you ask how the Serbian government can react,” Brnabic said, according to daily Danas.

The question of deputy of the New Serbia – Movement For Serbia’s Salvation Djordje Vukadinovic, what does the government’s approval look like and how can the Serbian government grant an approval for the oath under the constitution of Kosovo?

“This is in line with the Brussels Agreement, which was adopted by the Serbian Parliament, we, as a government, are obliged to fulfil all that the Assembly adopts and have full legitimacy,” Brnabic said.

What has been done allows for better legal protection of Serbs in Kosovo, at the moment when we do not have complete control over our southern province and we will do everything to improve quality of life as much as possible, she said, adding that they want judges and prosecutors to be available to Serbian people, Danas writes.

“I do not know why the government is criticized for this,” she said, and she pointed out that Serbia had received international recognition by the international community.

The question of Vukadinovic whether Brnabic is unpleasant about the announcement, while her government is marking 100 days of work, of preparations for the new elections, left without the Prime Minister’s reply.

In a commentary, which he was not allowed to complete, since in half of his speech, Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic has ended the session, Vukadinovic reminded Ana Brnabic that the Serbian Parliament did not adopt the Brussels agreement and stressed that the Report was adopted on the negotiations with Pristina.
