Deputy leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Agim Veliu, said statements of the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, that in the future the Serbian List will be expelled from the government of Kosovo due to strengthening of Kosovo’s Army and that LDK could become part of the government as part of this scenario, a gossip. “Vucic does not have the power to decide for LDK and the Republic of Kosovo. No, no… we do not have any connection with Vucic and we do not at all follow his prognosis and advises . He does not have the right to speak on behalf of LDK. Our party has its own principals, it makes its own decisions,” Veliu said.
He however did not exclude the possibility that LDK could become part of Kosovo’s executive. He said that after the conclusion of the elections, the party will sit and decide about its future.
A few days ago, Belgrade media reported on the “discovered scenario” by the Serbian President Vucic, on LDK’s joining the government.
According to this reporting, Vucic said LDK could become part of the government and either Vjosa Osmani or Lutfi Haziri could be soon nominated as leader of the party.
