Second roundtable within the internal dialogue on Kosovo would be held today at the Palace of Serbia, announced the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo, Insajder portal reports.

Director of the Office for Kosovo, Marko Djuric, Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mladen Sarcevic and Secretary General of the Serbian Presidency, Nikola Selakovic would attend the roundtable.

The first roundtable within the internal dialogue on Kosovo took place on 31 October, where around 40 law schools and faculties’ professors expressed their stances and opinions on the Kosovo issue.

The Working Group for the support to the internal dialogue on Kosovo, was established on 16 October 2017, by the decision of the Serbian Government. It consists of representatives of all ministries, Prime Minister’s Cabinet, Office for Co-operation with Civil Society, Secretariat General of the Government and the Republic Law Secretariat.

The majority of the opposition parties earlier stated they do not believe in a sincere wish to have a dialogue and announced they will not take part in it, Insajder also reported.

Marko Djuric criticized the stance of the opposition saying that they are “running away from the dialogue,” adding that the Serbian President Vucic “sent invitation letters to many, and the call remains open for everybody”.
