The media report that a scheduled joint press conference between Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, got cancelled at the last minute. While no official explanation behind the decision was made available, agenda issues are being mentioned as reason.
Radio Free Europe reports that the meeting between Haradinaj and Mogherini as part of the joint EU-Kosovo meeting on Stabilisation and Association Agreeement (SAA) took place in a tense atmosphere and that Mogherini left the meeting seemingly upset. A source present in the meeting told Koha that Mogherini’s reaction could have been a result of Haradinaj mentioning the need for the U.S. to get involved in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
