Detention of Bogdan Mitrovic was extended for two more months based on the decision of the Basic Court in Prizren and the proposal of the Special Prosecution for War Crimes in Kosovo, lawyer Dejan A. Vasic told KoSSev portal.
“In his proposal to extend detention, the special prosecutor mentioned statements of the municipal officer for returns in Suva Reka, Gjeladin Sadikaj, ignoring other testimonies that seriously bring into question credibility of the accusations. During the last two months, he interviewed three witnesses only proposed by the defence, disregarding obligation to urgently act,” Vasic further said.
Bogdan Mitrovic was arrested at the end of August 2017, from a group of displaced persons who were visiting their properties and demolished church in the village of Musutiste.
