Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Behgjet Pacolli, met in Washington D.C. the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, Wess Mitchell, who was also accompanied by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Hoyt Yee. Pacolli said the meeting took place in a positive atmosphere and that they discussed Kosovo-U.S. relations, including priority issues and the need for increasing the U.S. presence in the region. “U.S. support for Kosovo will continue and become even more powerful,” Pacolli said after the meeting adding: “Our partnership and strategic alliance is unshaken and eternal.”
