President of Leftist Party, Borko Stefanovic said two members of his party were injured in Mitrovica North, B92 reported.

They sustained injuries while sitting in a coffee bar, following a debate on Kosovo-Serbia relations.

“While we were sitting and having coffee, some great heroes threw stones at us, breaking the coffee bar’s windows. Two members of the Leftist Party sustained head injuries. Mindless people and cowards will not stop us,” Stefanovic wrote on his Twitter profile.

Meanwhile, Vesti-online reported on Stefanovic’s statement that agreements he has agreed in Brussels do not represent an act of recognition of Kosovo’s independence, as during his time not a single agreement was signed.

Stefanovic, former chief of the Belgrade negotiation team in a dialogue with Pristina, said in a talk show Slobodno srpski it was not them who made Serbs to have Kosovo ID cards, driver licences and passports, as Marko Djuric frequently blames them.

He also said “his team has reached seven agreements with Pristina authorities and only two were implemented, the agreement on freedom of movement and on the asymmetric representation of Kosovo in regional international organizations. He said that they kept public informed and the Assembly of Serbia adopted the agreements.

Stefanovic also said that both, Belgrade and Pristina avoid implementing what was agreed, as neither side wishes to diminish its own picture of the status of Kosovo.

“Still, I think that Belgrade honoured everything and did much more than what were obligations of the Kosovo Albanians. The Association of the Serb Municipalities is a crown and an ultimate evidence that the Kosovo Government absolutely did not implement what was agreed. Everybody is addressing their own constituencies. Albanians are voting for war, national, chauvinistic and anti-Serbian options.

Serbs in Kosovo vote for the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS). If I knew it was ok for them to make a coalition with Ramush Haradinaj, I would wave my hand and told them, come on people, I go home, it makes no sense to get deal with this,” Stefanovic said.
