Head of the Energy Regulatory Office, Arsim Janova, reported to the Kosovo Assembly’s committee on human rights on the charging the unpaid electricity bills from the north to the rest of Kosovo consumers. Janova said the decision to suspend this practice pending a court ruling was taken by the board and is in line with the Law on Energy Regulator. He also said that the total amount the rest of Kosovo consumers have paid in the last five years for the unsettled electricity bills in the north reaches €41 million.
