Srpska Lista rejected all insinuations that its representatives are negotiating with the authorities in Pristina on the transformation of the Kosovo security forces into armed forces, and said their stance in this regard is clear and unchanged, RTS reported.

This reaction came following the statement of the Kosovo deputy minister of defence, Agim Ceku, who said there are talks with the Srpska Lista on the transformation of the Kosovo security forces into the armed forces.

Srpska Lista said its president Goran Rakic and all MPs would not support the establishment of some forces mentioned by certain Albanian representatives, RTS further reported.

“We once again reiterate our stance, KFOR is the only legal and legitimate armed formation active in Kosovo and Metohija, in line with the UN SC Resolution 1244 and in agreement with Belgrade,” Srpska Lista said.

At the same time, it informed citizens that no talks were held with the representatives and members of the Srpska Lista on this matter and “they are rejecting such possibility,” as their stance is very clear and unchanged.

“And those telling they have talked to the representatives of the Srpska Lista instead of misinforming the public should tell who did they have these talks to,” RTS reported.
