During his visit to Moscow, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic while talking to the Russian journalists “said the number of untruths” and “two are noticeable” an opposition Fatherland (Otadzbina) Movement said, KoSSev portal reported.
The first one is that “during his authority Serbs have returned to Kosovo and Metohija.” Not only that the Serbs have not returned, but even those who have stayed are massively departing, Fatherland Movement further said.
And while earlier Serbs were leaving from the ethnically mixed areas, now the Serbs are departing from the areas that are homogenous, and that is the north of Kosovo, the Movement said.
The second one is that the security of Serbs has improved since Aleksandar Vucic came into power in Serbia, the Movement said, adding that although Serbs today “less suffer” from the KLA they are exposed to “a horrible violence” of “mafia-criminal cycles,” and “in particular in the north of Kosovo and Metohija,” KoSSev portal reported.
Fatherland Movement thorough its member in the Assembly of Serbia launched an initiative, signed by more than 50 MPs to establish a board that would “determine who carries out violence in the north of Kosovo and Metohija”.
The Movement reminded that “during this time” “more than 120 vehicles were burned, high number of armed attacks against houses and individuals happened, including the murders of three Serbs. None of the perpetrators have been discovered,” KoSSev reported.,
