Haradinaj says that all issues that have so far been part of the dialogue in Brussels have no weight, because the main question between Kosovo and Serbia has not been resolved, and that is Kosovo’s recognition by Serbia.

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj was a guest in TV Show “Slobodno Srpski” on Sunday night; among the reasons is the first 100 days of the government that he is in charge.

Haradinaj says that Kosovo accepted the agreement and that the Community/Association of the Serb Municipalities (ZSO) will be formed, but did not specify when this would happen. Asked if the ZSO will be formed by the end of 2018, Haradinaj replies that he hopes that time would not be wasted to “tackle the question” (referring to the recognition of Kosovo by Serbia). He said that everyone will lose until “this question is resolved between Kosovo and Serbia ”.

Kosovo is seeking greater US commitment to the dialogue, which was all the time involved in the dialogue, while for the inclusion of the Russian Federation, Haradinaj says that they had withdrawn 15 years ago from these areas and added:

– They are here (US), but because of what is happening on the world stage, we are asking their attention that we are a priority. Otherwise, my request has only one goal – do not leave this region unresolved. We did not finish the job. Come on, if we begin than let’s finish it, it’s the only agenda and there’s nothing else in it.

-Russia does not have any role here, and it is not necessary or acceptable to bring someone who does not have a role and who is not involved.

Haradinaj says that he did not talk or “there was an agreement with the Kosovo Serbs” on the issue of transformation of the Kosovo Security Forces. He also said he did not understand “why a big operation is made around this” when, as he says, it is only a constitutional change in the name of the KSF and that it is not a “new Kosovo Army”. Asked whether the Serbs would support the formation of the Kosovo Army, Haradinaj says he could not answer the question.

PM says he has a very good cooperation with colleagues Serbs, with the Deputy Prime Minister Dalibor Jevtic, with ministers Nenad Rikalo, Todosijevic.
– I work with Mayor Rakic, I work with Slavko Simic, I work with people from the North – Milan Radojicic, for example, I believe that he also has his role, Haradinaj says.
When asked who this man is, the Kosovo Prime Minister replies:”Some from the North, who is important for all, and I am talking with him.”
– You do not have to be just a politician; we all have a role here. I speak to everyone, I am open. Haradinaj adds that he does not have a direct connection with Belgrade at some level, but all who live in Kosovo are ”interlocutors” to him.

When talking about the Specialists Chambers, Haradinaj says that in the part of the Albanian public there is an opinion that “Albanians are chased” and not all who have committed crimes during the Kosovo war, and adds that ”no one is happy that we have mono-ethnic court”.  However, he does not exclude the possibility of citizens’ protests due to the beginning of the work of the Court, but nevertheless he adds that the institutions of Kosovo will do everything to ensure that they are not directed against any community.

On one of the burning issues – the ratification of the demarcation agreement with Montenegro, Haradinaj says that the best solution would be that it “fails”, that is, that the members of the Assembly of Kosovo vote against it.

He adds that the correction of this agreement was foreseen by the agreement itself “we need the political will, between us and Montenegro to resolve this.” Kosovo PM says that the Prime Minister of Montenegro soon will visit Kosovo but he also says ”we have no promise and maybe we will not solve anything, but we do not stand in place, we are working on it,” Haradinaj concludes.
