Kosovo’s Special Prosecution has started preliminary investigations on the suspicions related to the electricity bills for the northern part of Kosovo.
“Yes, I have initiated preliminary investigations on the electricity bills of the north. I have authorized Kosovo Police with my own initiative to gather information with regards to the suspicions raised in public,” said prosecutor Ali Rexha.
“I am waiting for required information,” he added.
The Office of the Ombudsperson has earlier initiated investigation with regards to the illegal billing of electricity spent in the north, to the rest of Kosovo population without informing them in advance that they are paying electricity consumed in the north.
