Phone traffic between central Serbia and Kosovo would be charged as per domestic rates and it is not necessary to dial the geographic code for land lines and mobile Telekom Srbija numbers, despite politically motivated statements of the Pristina regulatory body, Serbian Government Office for Kosovo told RTS.
“A unique telecommunication system will continue to operated in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, from Horgos to Dragas and users of MTS D.O. Company will continue calling the central Serbia in a same way as they did till now,” Office for Kosovo press statement reads.
Pristina based media reported earlier that Kosovo regulatory agency for electronic and postal communication said dialing codes for Serbia, Slovenia and Monaco used by Kosovo land and mobile phone operators will be cancelled in 2018.
