Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric, strongly condemned “shameful and cowardly attacks” on the property of the Serbs in Kosovo, and said that it was highly irresponsible that the international community did not take more active steps to stop the “terror against the Serbian population”, reports RTS.
Congratulating the Serbian New Year to all compatriots in Kosovo, Marko Djuric said in a statement that unfortunately, on the eve of Christmas and the Serbian New Year, in Kosovo a series of attacks on the property of Serbs have happened whereby their harvest was burned.
“The fact that such attacks have taken place massively and at the time of our great holidays testify that this is an organized campaign of intimidation,” Djuric said.
