Ahmet Isufi, head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) parliamentary group, said today that it is not good to postpone meetings of the Assembly Presidency. The meeting was scheduled to discuss, among other issues, the initiative of 43 MPs to revoke the law on the specialist chambers. Isufi did not want to comment on U.S. Ambassador Greg Delawie’s remarks that if the special court is undone this would mean grave consequences. “The special court damages Kosovo and the fight of the Kosovo Liberation Army. Our position has been clear from the beginning. We were against the law when it was adopted and we maintain the same position … This court will try only Albanians and this will damage Kosovo’s image,” Isufi said.
