Serbian military analyst, Miroslav Lazanski said that “if anyone in Pristina, Brussels or Washington thinks that they can take northern part of Kosovo by force and expel Serbs who are absolute majority there, they should know that Serbian army can reach Mitrovica north within only three hours and to appear at the River Ibër/Ibar Bridge.”
He said no doubt Pristina’s ambition is to occupy northern Kosovo through its repressive apparatus. “President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic made it clear that this will not be possible.”
“They are afraid to put northern Kosovo under their control. This theory stands because they wanted to use the most recent murder to send ROSU there,” Lazanski said.
He said General Headquarters of the Serbian Army has elaborated plans for any potential danger, even for an eventual crisis in Kosovo.
