The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, commented the information that his visa application for Great Britain was rejected.
During a press conference today, Haradinaj denied the news and requested from journalists to worry about citizens and not politicians.
“It is very bad if it happens. They would do the right thing by rejecting visas for politicians, but to issue them to the citizens. Politicians get visas, believe me, and do not worry about them. The problem stands and it is painful that the citizens are isolated,” Haradinaj said.
“As far as the British visa is concerned, I have a visit on 26 February. In order to be fair, I have applied as any other citizen. I did not request any extraordinary procedure. I do not know why these reporting happened, but they are not true. I applied for the U.S. visa because I had several invitations for bilateral visits, and when there is such agenda, I go to the U.S. and any other country in the world,” he said.
Speaking about the initiative to abrogate the Law on specialist chambers, Haradinaj said that this matter is in regular procedure of the government of Kosovo.
