The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, told Croatian national broadcaster HRT that Kosovo-Serbia agreements advance the European perspective of entire Balkans.

“Any new hostility between Kosovo and Serbia means stagnation for both countries, but also for the region, because Kosovo-Serbia relations do not mean only relations between the two countries since reflection is wider,” Thaci said.

According to Thaci, with continuance of dialogue, Kosovo and Serbia will reach agreement for normalization, peace and sustainable inter-state reconciliation.

“Kosovo does not forget Serbia’s genocide committed in Kosovo, but we are determined to build peace,” Thaci said.

Speaking about Oliver Ivanovic’s murder, Thaci said according to the preliminary data, the murder has nothing to do with Albanian-Serb relations.
