Kosovo Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, reacted on today’s published strategy of The European Commission’s Strategy for “A credible enlargement perspective for an enhanced EU engagement with the Western Balkans”. Hoxha said that “it is very positive that European Union confirmed that Kosovo has its place in the EU and in this process it has its path divided from Serbia. The fact that EU is treating the process of Kosovo membership in the EU separately from Serbia.”
Minister Hoxha invited “all Kosovo institutions to be united in the path of Kosovo towards European Union, because we are a European state and we don’t have any other alternative. I appeal that we have an inter-institutional consensus and to have a joint stance among the government, parliament and other state institutions and to give priority to the implementation of Stabilization and Association Agreement and the reforms needed.”
