Kosovo’s Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who is visiting Washington, said today that Kosovo’s independence was achieved through joint efforts with the United States of America. “On the tenth anniversary of our independence, I met some of our friends at the State Department, National Security Advisor Herbert Raymond McMaster, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Laura Cooper, and the Director for South-Central European Affairs, Matthew Palmer. Kosovo’s independence was achieved through joint efforts with the U.S. Our friendship with the U.S. is special and we take pride in this,” Haradinaj wrote in a Facebook post.
