Austria’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Karin Kneissl, told Austrian daily Die Presse today that recognition of the independence of Kosovo by official Vienna, is irreversible.
Her statement comes as a reaction to the statement of the Austrian Vice-Chancellor Heinz-Christian Strache, who was quoted to have told Belgrade daily Politika that it would be a mistake to pressure Serbia into recognising Kosovo.
