Kosovo President Hashim Thaci exclusively for N1 spoke about the investigation of the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, stating that the motives of the crime are of a criminal nature and that the perpetrators will be revealed, although, as he says, the truth will hurt someone.
“The investigation into the murder of Oliver Ivanovic continues. So far there are no indications that would point to an ethnically motivated case, but the first information indicates to criminal, mafia motives. We will cooperate with the Serbian authorities in order to get adequate information. The truth will come out, although someone would be hurt by it,” he said.
He explained that these were preliminary data of investigative authorities.
“I cannot speak further; there are also relevant institutions that will give their results. However, there may be criminal structures related to certain political circles,” Thaci said.
