The Kosovo government has retracted the law on the border demarcation with Montenegro, following an agreement between Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and his Montenegrin counterpart Filip Vujanovic, which provides for eventual corrections if errors are found in the previous agreement. Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said today that the government will send to the Assembly a new bill that will incorporate the Thaci-Vujanovic agreement. The government will is scheduled to meet at 16:00. “We will send it [the bill] back to the Assembly around 16:00. Tomorrow we have to be ready for the session. There will be a session the day after tomorrow, because we cannot wait any longer. There is a slim chance that the session will be held tomorrow,” Haradinaj said. He added that if the assembly session is not held tomorrow, this day could be used for further consultations. The bill was retracted with all votes in favor and with three abstained votes from the Serb community. Haradinaj said it was a good sign that Serbs were present at the government meeting.
