The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Andrej Babis, has confirmed his support for the state of Kosovo regardless of a petition to retract the recognition of Kosovo’s independence. Babis sent a letter of congratulations to Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, on the 10th anniversary of Kosovo’s independence. “Let me assure you that as in the last ten years, the Czech Republic will continue to support your efforts to strengthen the rule of law, building neighborly relations in the region of the Western Balkans, and in your path toward the European Union. I am confident we will continue working together successfully in promoting our joint values of freedom and democracy in the years to come,” Babis wrote.
