Visar Ymeri from Vetevendosje Movement said that the current agreement means that there was no demarcation but verification of the border so far.
“This agreement in this manner should have not been submitted to the Assembly at all. Political parties were divided in two political groupings for three years now. This proves that Kosovo has lost territory. What caught my eye was the formulation that Kosovo is not losing territory. It is extremely important to use a language that would have the same meaning for both parties. This agreement does not have the same meaning for both parties, it is said that the agreement will be corrected to prevent loss of territory, while for the Montengrin party, it says there will be no major changes,” Ymeri said.
According to him, the correction is not as big as to return land that belongs to Kosovo.
“We will vote against and this agreement should not have been presented to the Assembly at all,” Ymeri concluded.
