Lawyer Nebojsa Vlajic expresses his dissatisfaction over the fact that the competent institutions are silent about the investigation of the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, the leader of the CI SDP.
-Nothing new has happened in the last month, except that the case was transferred to the Special Prosecution. I’m glad that this happened because the Mitrovica Prosecutor’s Office and the police were not up to that task, Vlajic told Beta agency.
He said that it would be illusory to expect that they will shed light on the murder, especially the Mitrovica police, which, as he said, has an 18-year-long history of incompetence.
“The very fact that the case has been transferred to the Special Prosecutor’s Office does not mean anything if they show themselves as incompetent or disinterested as the police and prosecution in Mitrovica,” Vlajic said.
He added that only the intelligence work can lead to the killer, N1 reports.
