Deputy leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Pal Lekaj, confirmed to Indeksonline that numbers for ratification of the Agreement for demarcation of the border with Montenegro are already reached.

He added that new agreement between Presidents Hashim Thaci and Filip Vujanovic created a new reality.

“We have said that the session will be called when the numbers for ratification of the agreement are reached. Being that a new reality is created after the signing of the two Presidents and after the report of the state commission,” Lekaj said.

Deputy leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and Deputy Prime Minister, Enver Hoxhaj said his party is working intensively for ratification of the agreement. “All the MPs of the governing coalition will vote for the agreement and there is no doubt about it, however, some MPs from the opposition and Serbian List will also vote for it. We will also be dealing intensively with this matter until Tuesday. So far we have discussed both with Serbian List and other Albanian parties in opposition to ensure the required votes and finally ratify the demarcation agreement,” Hoxhaj said.

Avdullah Hoti, caucus of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) said the 27 MPs from his political party will vote for ratification of the agreement. “Intentional misinterpretation of some media to  MP Ramiz Kelmendi’s posting, is a vain attempt to remove attention from the incapability of the governing coalition to ensure votes of the fragile parliamentarian majority
