The U.S. Embassy to Kosovo, issued a press release to congratulate people of Kosovo for the ratification of the border demarcation deal with Montenegro.
“Congratulations to the people of Kosovo on the ratification of the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro. Ratification is an important achievement that affirms Kosovo’s place in Europe. Each member of parliament who voted to ratify this agreement can be proud to know you have done the right and courageous thing for the good of your country. Now the Assembly and Kosovo’s government must turn its attention to other priority agenda items that will move Kosovo forward on rule of law, on economic development and on Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations. The Embassy of the United States will continue to support the efforts of Kosovo’s citizens to achieve full integration into the European family of nations,” is written in the press release.
