Five Turkish citizens, Kosovo residents, identified as Gulen’s suporters, were deported on Thursday to Turkey, a few hours after they were arrested by Kosovo Police.

Resident permits of Mustafa Erdem, Yusuf Karabina, Kahraman Demirez, Cihen Ozkan and Hasan Gunakan, managers of Turkish educational institutions in Kosovo, were suspended. Furthermore, Kosovo Police arrested them in the morning and deported them later for Turkey.

Gazeta Express has learned that Kosovo authorities have already deported them. This news portal has also learned that the police are chasing two other Turkish citizens in Kosovo, identified as Gulen’s supporters and manage school institutions of the opponent of the President of Turkey, Erdogan.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs justified this action with alleged security reasons, however it did not give further details.

The deportation of these Turkish citizens is taking place only a few months after Kosovo authorities failed to comply with Turkish President Erdogan’s request to hand over Fethullah Gulen’s supporters in Kosovo.
