Abdullah Hoti, head of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) parliamentary group, said the arrest and extradition of six Turkish nationals was a scandal. He argued that Kosovo authorities disrespected all procedures as the Turkish nationals had residence permits and did not violate Kosovo’s laws. “Their arrest and deportation goes to show that the Prime Minister has no control over his office, police and other institutions … The arrest and extradition of Turkish nationals has created a new reality and political parties should sit and agree on a date for early parliamentary elections,” Hoti said.
