Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel on April 13, Serbian media reports, quoting Tanjug agency.
The agency recalled that it would be the second meeting in a month and half between Merkel and Vucic and that this meeting has come at Merkel’s initiative.
The meeting will take place amid tensions around Kosovo and the Vucic’s announced “ten-day diplomatic offensive,” during which the president should discuss the Kosovo problem above all with Western partners.
Vucic said last week that he “doesn’t expect much good news” from the upcoming EU-Western Balkans summit in Sofia, but that he expected “difficult negotiations” in the meantime.
