Gazment Muhaxherri, mayor of Peja municipality, said his party the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) is ready for early parliamentary elections. He told RTV Dukagjini that he should be LDK’s candidate for the post of Prime Minister. “I believe I must be a candidate for Prime Minister. I have governed well and I won the elections without having to go to a runoff process. I don’t see any other candidacies,” Muhaxherri said. Meanwhile, LDK deputy leader and Gjilan mayor, Lutfi Haziri, said today that Muhaxheri is a good man and has done a good job in Peja but that the LDK has its leader and that is Isa Mustafa.
