Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) MP, Muharrem Nitaj, told Koha today that consensus is needed among the ruling parties and the opposition for the platform suggested by Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) leader and Assembly President Kadri Veseli. Nitaj said the issues highlighted in Veseli’s platform are “topics of national interest that require consensus. If such a standard had been applied in previous assemblies, we would have had a different situation now”. “We welcome and embrace the idea. This was also one of our requests. Prime Minister Haradinaj for some time now has been calling on the opposition to have a pro-active role on these topics,” Nitaj said.
