Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) deputy leader, Lutfi Haziri, said today that Kosovo missed a historical opportunity at the Sofia Summit “because it could have had a more dignified representation”. “Following the Sofia Summit, now is a good opportunity for the government to see its political inability to push processes forward,” he said. Haziri also commented on visa liberalization saying that whenever Kosovo’s leaders mention the issue the process is postponed one more year. “There is no certain date and we should not allow them to manipulate with dates. The European Commission send positive alarms for freedom of movement. The date will be decided by the Council of Ministers. In addition to non-recognizing member states, there are also other states that are hesitant. We need to convince them that Kosovo wants to cooperate,” Haziri said.
