Former President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, said at a conference on justice for women murdered as a result of domestic violence organised as part of the regional FemArt festival taking place in Pristina that the justice system failed to protect these victims and that she was disappointed with the failure of institutions to prevent and fight domestic violence. “When we speak about domestic violence, I feel irritated and disappointed at the same time. We have failed to collect enough evidence for these victims of violence,” Jahjaga said.
