Dejan Slavic who was in detention under war crimes charges raised the Basic Court in Pristina was set free, his lawyer, Nebojsa Vlajic confirmed to KoSSev portal.

“His detention is annulled. The decision says there are no reasons for detention any longer, without providing any other details. However, he was most probably arrested as he has the same name as someone else they are looking for,” Vlajic further explained.

Slavic was accused of committing a war crime in the village of Krusevac near Obilic and he has been in detention since his arrest at Jarinje crossing point on 5th May this year.
