The Kosovo Police states that security situation in Kosovo is “calm and stable”, reports portal Kossev.  “Occasional incidents of a different nature” did not affect the overall security situation – the Kosovo Police said in a statement.

The portal writes that this assessment of the situation followed a series of incidents in which the targets were Serbs and their property. However, the portal notes, the Kosovo Police did not specify to which “occasional incidents” they reacted to, nor did they cite the reason for this announcement.

On the other hand, the KP alleged the already known: “Every crime is punishable regardless of who the perpetrator is.” They also urged all citizens to report all criminal acts because they “help the Kosovo Police in the investigation” and “rapid clarification of all criminal cases”.

Kossev recalls that since last week a series of reports of attacks on local Serbs and their property were recorded.

The first case was recorded when the Albanians from Petric blocked the approach of the church to Serbs near Klina.

Local media reported on the stoning of the Suvi Do outpatient clinic, northern Mitrovica.

An outpatient clinic was broken into in the village of Novake, and the books of the protocol of the patients were burned, which led to the arrest of four underage persons.

The incident was also recorded in Staro Gracko when, according to local sources and the RTK2 report, there was an incident that led to a physical conflict between a Serbian family and a local Albanian.

In the village of Zac, a group of Albanians intercepted a local priest father Stevan Markovic, while returning from the service in the Pec Patriarchate with his family, the Raska-Prizren eparchy announced.

And in the most recent reports, two thefts of Serbian property in Vitina have been recorded, which was confirmed by the president of the temporary body of that municipality, Srdjan Nikolic, for Tanjug.

In the night between Sunday and Monday, two Serbian houses were stoned in the center of Vitina, RTV Puls reported yesterday.
