An incident occurred in Mitrovica North last night, while at least one minor is suspected of raising a false alarm of an alleged explosive device planted in the local Health Centre.
The EOD police team and fire brigade immediately responded to the scene for precautionary measures and after an hours long search nothing was found.
„Some children were identified as being suspected of committing an act of a false reporting. They are currently in a police station. We are working with them in order to confirm the reasons for such an act,“ Deputy Police Regional Commander Besim Hoti told KoSSev.
Italian Carabinieri and at least one EULEX vehicle were seen on the spot during the search, while the situation remained calm.
