Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke today with President of Liberia George Weah, whom he thanked for their views on Kosovo, as well as on a balanced approach to solving problems in the Western Balkans region, reports Belgrade based daily Danas.
According to the statement, two interlocutors discussed the further enhancement of cooperation between Serbia and Liberia, expressing their commitment to strengthening political, economic, educational and other cooperation.
Vucic announced the visit of the Serbian Minister of Agriculture to Monrovia, and that the students from Liberia will be coming to Serbia because of the education, as part of the scholarship program for foreign students.
The Liberian President said he hoped that the talks and negotiations that Serbia leads with Pristina will come to a solution and that Serbia will know how and succeed in preserving peace.
The statement also says that President Vucic called on President Weah to visit Serbia, which the Liberian President accepted, reports the daily.
