Serbian Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government Branko Ruzic says that Serbia is striving to reach a sustainable solution for Kosovo through dialogue, but that it does not have well-intentioned interlocutors on the other side, reports Serbian media.
He stresses that interlocutors on the other hand, representatives of Kosovo institutions, do not have enough understanding of the spirit of the time in which we are.
“It is said that two are needed for the tango, here we have three needed for the deal. You have the EU, and now the US is mentioned. It’s like you have a football match and the rules are changed halfway,” Ruzic told TV Prva.
He adds that it is difficult to understand that a format of talks and dialogue is set and then novelties are being introduced, while one of the sides in the dialogue do not fulfil the agreed.
Asked whether the Constitution would be changed, he says that “there are provisions that are no longer timed.” “I am not talking about the preamble of the Constitution, since everyone, when you say the change of the Constitution, think of the preamble,” Ruzic emphasizes.
Asked whether the preamble to the Constitution would change, he says “this issue is not officially open”. “I think this does not matters. Of course, if there is a change in the Constitution, some other provisions will also be changed,” Ruzic says.
