Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Behxhet Pacolli considers that the war to withdraw Kosovo’s recognitions is “absolutely crazy.” He also told BBC that he has engaged a group within the Ministry that he leads to work on increasing the number of recognitions of Kosovo. He further spoke about the efforts of the Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic to convince African and Asian countries to withdraw recognition of Kosovo. “Wherever I meet him, I ask Dacic why he needs this. I always tell him that I am building, and you are destroying. People only lough at us, and Serbia’s reputation at stakes,” Pacolli said.
Asked about who would need this obvious battle of changing the numbers when in essence they do not change anything, neither the position of major powers nor relations with international organisations, Pacolli said “I absolutely do not know, it is an absolute madness.”
