In an interview with Deutsche Welle, European Parliament Rapporteur for visa liberalisation for Kosovo, Tanja Fajon, said European Commission’s positive recommendation for Kosovo is an important development. “The ball is now with the European Parliament and EU members’ governments to accept this,” said Fajon adding that she expects the EU member states to follow the European Commission recommendation and lift the visa regime as quickly as possible. “There are no more reasons for justifications or delays,” Fajon said.
