Vetevendosje MP Albulena Haxhiu told KTV today that there will be anti-government rallies and a motion of no confidence against the Haradinaj-led government. “Kurti [Vetevendosje leader] recently highlighted all the scandals of the Haradinaj government and now there is a new momentum to go out on the streets to stop Haradinaj. There are many reasons now to stop the current government. When it came to power, the Haradinaj government first decided to raise their own salaries. We have filed charges for this, and the government is under investigation. The decision to raise salaries was absurd. The judiciary is also in a very bad state,” she said. Haxhiu also said they will initiate a motion of no confidence against the government, but she did not say when. “For the time being, we don’t have enough votes. For now, it is just us and the LDK, because those that left the Vetevendosje cannot be considered an opposition. They [the ruling coalition] might have problems between themselves but corruption unites them. The motion of no confidence will reveal all positions. We cannot keep a government in power only because of the tariff and the army. We will discuss the motion of no confidence with the LDK,” she said.
