Yesterday around 11 am, an unknown person fired shots at the premises within the household of Dragan Maksimovic and at the vehicle belonging to his son-in-law in Donja Gusterica village, reports Gracanica based KIM radio.

Maksimovic is the director of the elementary school ‘King Lazar’ in this village.

KIM radio reports, quoting RTV Gracanica, that at the moment, Maksimovic’s parents were in the house. Dragan Maksimovic called the police which immediately came and made an investigation.

RTV Gracanica reports that the whole case was not harmless since the situation repeated during the same day at evening hours.

As Maksimovic told RTV Gracanica, around 20.40, near his family house in Donja Gusterica, the shots and the sound of the stones were heard again. He states that he can not even imagine who and why want to harm him or members of his family.

After returning from work, he found his parents in front of the house, who were worried.

“They showed me a broken glass on a window from the shop. At first we thought that it was about children’s game and that someone threw a stone and accidentally have broken glass. After a while, our brother-in-law came to us, who borrowed a tractor trailer, the car was parked not far from the shop, and when he entered his car he noticed that the front glass was broken, according to our assumption, with an air rifle. Then we informed the police about the situation,” said Maksimovic.

After all this, he states, and at about 20.40 the same day, while standing with a friend in the yard, they heard the shooting again, and something that resembled a stone strike.

“We again called the police and informed the authorities about the new incident,” said Maksimovic, who was visibly shaken.

The police in Gracanica states that the investigation is ongoing, reports KIM radio.
