Srdjan Jovanovic, adviser to the Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj was stopped today at the Dheu i Bardhe (Konculj) border crossing by some MUP members while travelling to Vranje. They allegedly told him the Serbian intelligence service BIA ordered them to stop him.
This is not the first time that Serbian authorities undertake such actions against the members of the Independent Liberal Party (SLS) political entity. Slobodan Petrovic, Boban Stankovic, Nebojsa Jakovljevic and Srecko Spasic were also stopped by the Serbian police.
“Independent Liberal Party does not understand these attempts of threat and mistreat. We appeal for the fifth time to the European Union and to all institutions to react with regards to these actions,” is written in a press release issued by this entity.
These actions of Serbian authorities come as result of cooperation of Petrovic’s political party with the institutions of Kosovo and for not listening to the orders of the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic as Serbian List does, reports RTK.
